Sisterhood Vissuddha (Throat)

This band is a vintage watchband and the circle is a converted brass, glass enameled Italian Brooch circa 1940. It fits a 6.5-7" wrist 

The circle is the depiction of totality, oneness, timelessness. As

women coming into ourselves as individuals, in the shifting

landscape of gender roles, how do we want to represent the

many facets of the feminine? We are simultaneously one and the

same and also beautifully different. What we need is:

Women who are so strong we can be gentle,

so educated we can be humble,

so fierce we can be compassionate,

so passionate we can be rational and

so disciplined we can be free.

Beyond the shores of sisterhood lies the shore of oneness
